Written by William to the tune of the University of
California, Berkeley, fight song. Modest, it's not.
West Kingdom Fight Song
Oh the East and Middle had a little skirmish
Oh the East and Middle had a little war
Oh the East and Middle had a little skirmish
And the battlefield was strewn with blood and gore.
Oh the battlefield was well littered with bodies
Of the fighters of the East and Middle too.
And the reason that the field was strewn with East and Middle bodies
Was that Western knights had come a-charging through.
Western Kingdom, Western Kingdom,
The hills give back the cry,
Our foemen all shall die,
Our Western Kingdom, Western Kingdom,
Will win the day and we're the reason why.
And when the battle's is over, we'll roll out a keg or two
And toast the Western Kingdom 'till we wobble in our shoes.
So drink, ta-ra-ra,
Fight, ta-ra-ra,
Drink?
Fight!
Fought last night, fought the night before,
We'll fight tonight like we've never fought before.
For when we fight we are happy as can be,
For we all are members of the West Chivalry.
Oh, the West's Chivalry
Is the best Chivalry
That is to be found
On the land or the sea!
From the highland West
To the lowland West
In swirling Mist
Or the sunshine
Sing glorious, victorious
Only one hundred foes for the four of us.
Sing glory be to God that there are no more of us,
For one of us could take 'em all alone, damn near!
